How to book your first appointment.
Once booked, you can expect a confirmation text and email from me. Closer to your appointment, you will receive another text reminding you of your upcoming appointment. This is actually from my booking software. So please don't reply to that because I won't see it! Instead email me at Shelsea@hairbyshelsea.com if you need to reach me for anything at all!
Once you arrive at Haven Salon Suites for your appointment, you'll notice the set up is different than your typical salon. Each stylist has their own private suite! When you arrive, head to the Ipad to check in so it lets me know that you are here. Once your appointment begins we will spend 5-10 minutes discussing your hair goals.
A color formula will be custom blended for you based on your skin tone and maintenance desires. To make your processing time more comfortable, I offer coffee, soft drinks or water. I also have a Iphone charging cord if you need it!
I will also create a perfect haircut for your face shape and lifestyle. Styling tips and tricks are always available if you want to learn how to recreate your style in the salon.
I'll wrap up our visit with recommendations for at-home care and set you up for your next appointment. If time allows, I will be taking a few pictures as well!

Our Packages
A service for new clients or clients that haven't seen me in 3 or more months. It is ideal if you are looking for overall brightness or overall dimension. This package allows me the most creative freedom to move toward your hair goals.

The package could include any of the following: highlights (balayage, foilyage, babylights etc), lowlights, root smudge and toner. Also includes haircut and K18 mask treatment. 3-4 hours $294-$392+

For existing clients only. Freshen up current balayage or highlights. Typical service booked for clients that have been seeing me regularly every 8-12 weeks. Includes haircut or trim. 2-3 hours $196-$294+

What should i do if I am unsure of what I want?
Usually 4-6 weeks is safe. But if your time is limited, I would book sooner rather than later.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY APPOINMENT?
Solid black or neutrals are my favorite for after pics. But make sure its not your favorite top just in case. I try to be clean but I am an artist after all.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR ON THE DAY?
Yes! I manage my business in a way that I will always plan to take on new guests! I live for the before and after!
ARE YOU TAKING NEW CLIENTS?
Clean is always better when coloring and/or highlighting hair!
SHOULD MY HAIR BE DIRTY OR CLEAN WHEN I ARRIVE?
My suite is inside Haven Salon Suites which is in the south part of Leawood, KS. It is on the corner of 135th and Roe Avenue near Tide Cleaners.
